If you are a lover of adventure and mysterious things such as solid lakes or naturally heated water bodies – then Lake Magadi is a place for you. The land is covered by salty plains and shimmering heat haze of the unearthly Lake Magadi. If you get close the Lake or near the hot springs, you get burnt. And if you take a shower in the hot springs, your skin becomes white in seconds -let’s say it’s a weird and cheap bleaching agent for your skin.
The encrustation soda and other elements give the landscape around Lake Magadi a unique and beautiful lunar appearance. The ambience and the color create a perfect environment for fashion photographers and landscape enthusiasts.
Versatile Adventures and Lake Magadi Adventures gave a group of photographers an incredible opportunity to learn and explore the plains at Lake Magadi and its environs. Straight from Rongai, the landscape along the road is breathtaking. The road passes over the Ngong Hills to suddenly plunge into the deepest heart of the Rift Valley. After passing the last hills hidden behind the Ngong Hills in other words, Ol Exayeti and Ol Esakut Hills, we went across brown-like grass-plains similar to the one of Mara.
